Totally random online Dating for Dogs, a true story - Part II

Dear Barb:
I’ve known a lot of animals in my day, but your dog and Martha’s are certainly the most expressive I’ve ever seen (or heard, I should say). What a great idea for a blog, communication between dogs (as recorded by their owners).
I hope they’ll continue with their conversations, at least until a romance develops.

Hey Bob,
I heard back from Sofi - she said she loves you desperately.
Them's fighting words.

Well, really, Doodles.
Bob is quite cute and very clever and I do love to see him coming up our steps for my mom's group that gathers every month -- but -- he is a human and humans have strange customs and habits.
You should never feel insecure about the friendship you and I share.
Although we are separated by miles, I want you to know that there is no truth to the rumor that I am involved with the dog next door. He is a boisterous sort, quite childish and loud. I'm sure you would never make such a fuss.
Would you?

Dear Sof:
Fuss? What, like jumping up, spinning in circles, or yapping? Heavens, no. A doxie has his dignity. Occasionally. Did you say Dog Next Door??!!!? (DND)
I'm jumping in my carry on bag - to cross the miles to you.... RIGHT NOW....
I can't wait another moment. When/where can we meet? This online romance needs to turn real....
Move over Bob, DND and anyone else out there...
Doodle
Hey Doodle:
I'm gonna be in a bag, too! Mom and I are headed to NYC for a writer's event. Meet me at the pet relief station at PDX (Portland International Airport) today at 2pm. Our two hearts can meet....
xoxo
