Dear Dog Diary readers and friends:
Would you look at all that food!? You're a self respecting surf dog in a situation like this. Whatcha gonna do?
Hang loose. Be patient. Step up to the nose of the board. Make your move.
But first - work your allies.
Start early.
Start with women.
Start in the kitchen.
#1 target: Grandma.
She's the one with the bird in the hand.
#2 target: the dish washer
You make life easier for him/her!
Be sure to wear your best "I'm so small and cute" outfit.
#3 target: The right arm of grandpa.
Yeah, the guy in the Hawaiian shirt is always a good choice.
Target 4: Anyone not all grown up, is next on the list.
Is there anyone left? Is there anyone all grown up?
Once you've scored, and gluttoned out, nap.
Prep for round 2.
Get out and enjoy fall leaves! Surf thanksgiving day!
Work up an appetite. Then, head back inside for round 3
There's something about the magic of the holidays that brings out the best in everyone.
Jump in their lap. Show what's in your heart. Snuggle up.
Warning: this could lead to round 4.
An attitude of gratitude is what this week is all about.
THANK YOU to our Surf Dog Diaries family and friends!
HAPPY THANKSGIVING FROM OUR FAMILY TO YOURS.
