Happy Mother's Day from the dog. A greeting card photo essay by DogDiary.org
Dog Moms of the world - WE LOVE YOU! You know who you are.
You feed us treats. You share your home and couch and life with us. You are there, mothering us, every step of the way. You've rescued us, in so many ways.
I am your dog kid. Your best friend. Best friend to your other kids or dogs or grand kids.
I even pretend to love the cat for you.
You may be 12 or 20. 50 or 85. Gen x or y, boomer or somewhere in between. I may be your first kid or your last. All that matters, is that we're together. We're family.
Thank you grandma, for sharing thanksgiving turkey with me!
We're twins. We share life adventures. You hang 10 and I hang 20 toes on the surf ride of life - together.
Even when I close my eyes because I'm scared. (Oh that's right, I'm blind. Never mind.)
Sometimes we're naughty together. Good naughty!
This is the one day that we dogs can share how we really feel. Just like we did 5 minutes ago! Just like we will in another 5 minutes!
But seriously. I really mean it. I could not live my life without you, mom.
Dear mom - I love you with all my heart. And hair and skin. Ears, nose and toes. Every moment of my life - is yours to share.
Thanks for everything - every day, mom.
Happy Mother's Day.
With love and wet noses and kisses and body nudges and body-shaking tail wags,
Your dog kid.
